Our mission is to deliver rigorous, fact-based insights that empower business leaders and policymakers to make informed decisions on the most critical economic and corporate issues shaping the global landscape.

The CEO Policy Institute’s mission is to provide a rigorous, fact-based foundation to guide decision-making on the economic and business issues most critical to the world’s companies and policymakers.

What Is the CEO Policy Institute?

Founded in 2008, the CEO Policy Institute serves as an independent research organization dedicated to advancing understanding of global economic and business dynamics. We draw on a rich base of regional, sectoral, and functional expertise, while maintaining strict editorial independence.

  • Editorial independence: All research direction and editorial decisions are made solely by the Institute’s directors and partners.
  • Fact-based and impartial: None of our work is commissioned or funded by corporations, governments, or other institutions.
  • Public good: We share our findings publicly and free of charge.
  • Funding: The Institute is entirely funded by its partners.

Our goal is to provide executives, investors, and policymakers with independent, data-driven insights that inform high-impact decisions.

Research Themes

The CEO Policy Institute’s work is organized into five major research themes:

  1. Productivity and Prosperity – Creating and harnessing the world’s assets most productively.
  2. Resources of the World – Building, powering, and feeding the planet sustainably.
  3. Human Potential – Maximizing and unlocking the potential of human talent.
  4. Global Connections – Exploring how flows of goods, services, people, capital, and ideas shape economies.
  5. Technologies and Markets of the Future – Identifying the next arenas of value creation and competition.

Through these themes, we examine both long-term structural shifts and shorter-term developments with direct implications for business leaders and policymakers.
